Fundraising News

We have recently added some new ways for you to support Berkshire Youth’s work.

Local lotteries

Please consider playing either the Reading Community Lottery or West Berkshire Lottery.

These are exciting weekly lotteries which raise money for local good causes. Every good cause supported by the lotteries will benefit the areas of Reading / West Berkshire and its residents.

Players must be aged 16 or above. Tickets for the lottery cost £1 per week. Each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize each week, with a top prize of £25,000! The draw takes place every Saturday at 8pm.

The Giving Machine

We have also signed up as a good cause at The Giving Machine. You can generate free donations for us every time you shop online via this website. Please sign up and get started now or browse the huge range of shops who are participating. Please tell your friends and family to sign up too. It’s easy to use, will cost you nothing, but would mean a great deal to us.

Join our 501 Club!

Help raise money for Berkshire Youth whilst having fun! Membership of 501 costs from just £12 per year and helps to raise much needed money for youth activities. What’s more, you have the chance to win a cash prize every other month in our draw. For more details, or to join, please contact Sue Tabor at Berkshire Youth on 0118 909 0927 or by email.

 2.6 Challenge

We are excited to be taking part in the nationwide campaign to save the UK’s charities – the “TwoPointSixChallenge”. Will you help us survive the current crisis and beyond by joining us? All you need to do is some / all of the following:

1.Participate in your very own challenge – linked to the numbers 2 and 6. This could be anything, so use your imagination! Our Training & Development Manager is running / walking 2.6 km every day for a week, for example.

2.Create your own fundraising page or donate here.

3.Nominate others to join in the fun!

Please email any photos of you doing your challenges to us or comment in our social media posts.

Thank you for your continued support!
