An Insight Into – exciting workshops for young people aged 16-25 creating an opportunity for young people to learn from industry professionals across a wide range of sectors.

Apple  – if you have an Apple device, Apple have released free ebooks for a limited time; click on ‘Book store’ and then the ‘Free books’ section.

Architecture around the World – virtual tours of the most amazing architecture and monuments the world had to offer

Audible  – thousands of educational and children’s audio books available completely free.

Autism Berkshire  – visit their page which is full of things that children and families can do at home and places they can visit online.

BBC Bitesize  – free teaching and revision material for primary, secondary and post-16 students, including advice on studying at home during the pandemic.

BBC Bitesize Revision App – for 14 to 16 year olds, the app includes GCSE Flashcards for Maths, English, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Combined Science, Geography, History and PE.

BBC Teach – thousands of free curriculum-mapped videos arranged by age group and subject.

BBC Young Reporter – encouraging young people aged 11 to 18 to share their stories and get their voices heard.

Berkshire County FC Inclusive Sessions – Berkshire County FC Disability Football Club is a new initiative designed to inspire boys and girls aged 12 – 18 with any disability or unable to attend mainstream football, to get involved.

Big History Project  – aimed at Secondary age. Multi disciplinary activities.

Cambridge Science Centre  – free online resources to inspire and excite children about science!

Chatterpack – a list of free, online, boredom-busting resources.

Codecademy – advice about how to learn effectively at home.
Coding for Beginners – 1 hour tutorials for all ages.

Corn Exchange Newbury – explore this page if you are between 12 and 25 years old and have an interest in the arts as a career or a hobby. Online sessions available.

Creative Bug – offering free taster craft lessons from knitting to jewellery-making, drawing and origami.

CTC Tennis Coaching – Shinfield Tennis Club and Binfield Tennis Club have a range of sessions running again. Anyone who hasn’t had lessons with CTC Tennis Coaching before can book a free trial session – booking in advance essential. Open Water Safety: Be Aware – as the temperature continues to rise a cooling swim in rivers and lakes can be appealing. About 400 people drown every year in the UK. Recent data show that 95% of all swimming drowning victims were male and many were teenagers https://www.rospa.com/leisure-safety. Open water is often stronger and deeper than it looks with hazards that can’t be seen #WaterSafety.

You-COPE: Youth COVID-19 Response Personal Experience Study Information – UCL would like to understand how young people aged 16 to 24 in the UK have been impacted by COVID-19, to inform national health and education policy during the pandemic and in the future.
